Indian Chief S&S 'Gilroy' (2000)

Indian Chief S&S 'Gilroy' (2000)

Here we have a fantastic example of the iconic 'Gilroy' Indian Chief, one of only 655 Chiefs produced when Indian Motorcycles were brought back from the dead in 1999-2003 after 50 years dormant.

This bike is an S&S motor early model, much more reliable than the flawed 'bottle top' engine in later bikes. The bike has just gone through a thorough service where all fluids have been changed, the starter motor has also been changed. The Chief now runs perfectly, its a joy to ride and the sound from the straight through pipes is incredible. The bike looks fabulous in black with all chrome work in excellent condition throughout having not been ridden in the UK. These are very rare bikes in the UK, a true icon of the motorcycle world and sure to always draw a crowd wherever it goes.

The bike was imported 4 years ago and has been used as an ornament complimenting a classic car collection rather than having been ridden. The bike has just gone through its first MOT with no issues, all import duties have been paid and a NOVA certificate is present so it is ready to be registered in your name, this is something we can deal with on your behalf and you will be classed as the first UK owner when the V5 logbook is received.
