The bike is completely standard even down to the rear reflector which was the first thing people used to bin once they rode off the forecourt. All paintwork and decals are original, it’s been garaged throughout its life and evidently been a fair weather bike. If you’re looking for a collector condition 5JJ, this could well be the one.
It’s a UK bike from new and even comes with the original purchase invoice from George White Superbikes back in September 2000. Also present are a number of old MOT certificates, the owners manual, service book, data-tag records and the current V5 which state 1 former keeper.
It runs and rides perfectly, and cosmetically is fantastic, an extremely good example of the R1 5JJ.
