I don’t say this lightly, we see a lot of these and this is then best we have come across to date, excellent condition throughout and nut and bolt original, even down to the supplying dealer plate. It was bought new from Skellerns in Worcester in April 1998 and has lived a charmed life, mainly sat in a heated garage undercover alongside some very nice machinery.
Present with the bike is the original sales invoice from Skellerns in 1998, PDI sheets, early service invoices and old MOT documents, both keys with Skellerns keyrings and even original sales brochures for the R1 in 1998.
I cant stress how nice the bike is, it’s a compete package with the originality, 1 owner and the documentation, a real collector piece.
Mechanically it's running perfectly having had recent tyres, carb clean and service. All the paint and metal finishes are original and in excellent shape, please take a good look at the images, a walk round video will be available shortly.
